Today, developer MachineGames and publisher Bethesda announced that Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus will have a season pass.

Titled, The Freedom Chronicles, the season pass includes three DLC packs and four pieces of DLC total, starring a trio of larger-than-life and varying heroes. According to Bethesda, while BJ Blazkowicz (the protagonist of the base game) is busy igniting a revolution in the States, other freedom fighters have taken the fight to the Nazi regime on their own fronts.

One of the DLC packs is called The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe, and it follows former professional quarterback Jospeh Stallion as he smashes his way through Nazi hordes from the ruins of Chicago to the vastness of space.

The Diaries of Agent Silent Death has you play as an ex-OSS agent and assassin Jessica Valiant, who must infiltrate Nazi Bunkers in California and discover the secrets of Operation San Andreas.

Lastly, you have The Amazing Deeds of Captain Wilkins, which puts you in the shoes of renowned US Army hero, Captain Gerald Wilkins, who is on a mission to Nazi-occupied Alaska to dismantle Operation Black Sun.

All three DLC packs will be available in the aforementioned Season Pass, which is available to purchase for $24.99 USD. Bethesda have confirmed that each DLC pack will be available for individual purchase, but it declined to reveal at what price-point. Further, it's also unclear in what order the DLC packs will release. According to Bethesda, more details, including release dates, prices, and additional gameplay details will be coming "soon."

Additionally, Bethesda and MachineGames also revealed the bonus you will receive if you decide to snag yourself a copy before release via a preorder will come in the form of Episode Zero, a DLC mission that introduces you to all of the above-mentioned characters. Episode Zero is also available as part of the Season Pass, but will not be available for individual purchase.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, the sequel to 2014's Wolfenstein: The New Order, is poised to release on October 27th for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Beyond the plain ol' $59.99 USD standard edition of the game, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is also available classic GI-Joe-themed Collector’s Edition for $99.99 USD In addition to the retro collector’s edition, the game’s launch will also be accompanied by an official art book from Dark Horse.
