After its surprise reveal earlier this year, the upcoming Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, a standalone downloadable prequel to last year's critically acclaimed Wolfenstein: The New Order, has now been sent out into the wild for pre-ordering and pre-loading ahead of its release.

Pre-orders for Wolfenstein: The Old Blood are now available across PS4, Xbox One, and PC, with the title retailing for $19.99 across all platforms and will be a standalone, downloadable title that does not require Wolfenstein: The New Order to play: pre-orders of the game will unlock on 12:01am on May 5th, 2015.

In addition to pre-orders now being opening on all platforms, pre-loading is available now for the title on all platforms alongside pre-orders being opening: The Old Blood currently stands at file sizes of 37.14GB on Xbox One, 38GB on PC through Steam, and 10.2MB on PS4.

The PS4 file size may be a mistake or an initial pre-load size, but will likely be similar in size to the other two consoles, but as an added bonus The Old Blood is marked down to $17.99 in pre-orders thanks to a discount for PlayStation Plus subscribers.

Wolfenstein: The Old Blood will release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 5th, 2015 - you can pre-order the title on PS4 by clicking here, head to the Xbox One version here, or go to Steam for the PC version to begin your pre-loading.
