Lizardcube and DotEmu recently released a new developer diary for Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap that focuses on the title's art.

In the video, Ben Fiquet delves into how they animated the game's characters and enemies frame-by-frame to give it a real sense of life, and also how they tried to stay true to the original game when updating everything's design.

Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap recently went gold. The developers also clarified in a blog post today that the game will only be releasing on Nintendo Switch and PS4 in Japan and Australia. They also said that their are currently no plans for a physical release of the game.
