Wonder Festival 2019 Brings Tons of New and Updated Figurines for Persona 5, Devil May Cry 5, Fire Emblem, and More

Japan's Wonder Festival 2019 delivers with gorgeous figurines from Persona 5, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Devil May Cry 5, and plenty more.

Japan’s Wonder Festival always delivers on the figurine announcements and this year’s convention is no exception. So naturally tons of new gaming-themed figurines, as well as the prototypes for previously revealed one, made their debut during the con. And thanks to Twitter user Pixelbuster, we get to see the full lineup from companies such as Kotobukiya, Good Smile, Aquamarine, and Alter.

As you’ll see below, there’s a wide range of characters and their games represented here such as: Fate/Grand Order, Bayonetta, Shin Megami Tensei, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Okami, Persona 5, Devil May Cry 5, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Kirby, Guilty Gear Xrd, and Pokemon. Quite the extensive lineup.

Last year’s Wonderfes also featured plenty of gaming related figurines, with the not so surprising majority of content from Persona 5. Some of the characters’ past figure also debuted this year. The latest ones were from Wonder Festival Shanghai, which featured Joker and Noir.

Back in May Japan’s Mega Hobby Expo 2019 showcased some amazing beauties including from companies Good Smile, Max Factory, and Alter. In additional great news Amakuni announced that they would be crafting a figurine of the newest character from Persona 5: Royal, Kasumi Yoshizawa.

Amakuni previously showed off their figurines of Ann TakamakiFutaba Sakura, and Makoto Niijima, as well as a full-color Tae Takemi figurine. The manufacturer also debuted a prototype version of Makoto from Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight.

As a heads up, due to the nature of the event a lot of these figures showcased below are not final. Many are unpainted prototypes, and some are even just presented with artwork or acrylic cutouts:

This one is interesting to see, since Akechi had already made his debut during Anime Expo 2019. But now we get to see his finished prototype self, which looks impressive. I especially love the the bright red color of his mask.
