Today Arc System Works released a brand new trailer of its upcoming mystery visual novel World End Syndrome.

The video provides a look at gameplay including the map on which we'll navigate to find the various events. We also get to see the many heroines included in the game. We get the energetic childhood friend, the apathetic mysterious girl, the nerdy meganekko who is actually a super-popular idol in disguise, the rich ojousama, and more inevitable tropes.

The game is being developed in collaboration with ToyBox and features the character design by BlazBlue artist Yuki Kato, which is interesting considering how unusual to see her art in this kind of genre.

You can enjoy it below. If you want to see more about the game, you can check out a large batch of screenshots from a while ago, alongside the first trailer and more screenshots.

Of course, at least for the moment, a western release has not been announced or even hinted at, but World End Syndrome will launch in Japan on August 30th for PS4, PS Vita, and Nintendo Switch.
