Soon the DS classic The World Ends With You is coming back to Nintendo Switch, aptly titled The World Ends With You: Final Remix.

First of all, we get a comparison between the old DS game and the Switch version, showing the clear difference in visuals. You can see it below with the DS version first and the Switch version second.

The visuals aren't the only new thing that Switch owners are going to be able to enjoy with this remaster, as new arrangements by Composer Takeharu Ishimoto are going to be included. There will also be a dedicated menu allowing you to change BGM (switching between standard and remixed version).

We also get a brand new scenario going deeper into the story.

You can check out the full gallery below. The game will release in Japan on September 27th, but we still don't have a specific launch date for the west.

The western release can already be pre-ordered on Amazon, even if a launch date for North America and Europe has not been announced just yet.
