World of Final Fantasy’s Free Sora DLC Coming Next Month to Japan
Square Enix has announced via their Japanese World of Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts Twitter accounts that their previously announced summon DLC for Sora will come to the former game on January 12th in Japan.
The free character launches simultaneously with Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue in the region, which had its last trailer revealed yesterday by the publisher.
The Kingdom Hearts protagonist will be adorning his Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD outfit and though no release dates for the DLC have been announced for North America or Europe yet, it seems like a good possibility that it will launch within a similar timeframe, seeing as how Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 launches worldwide only 12 days after its Japanese counterpart.
Dualshockers gave World of Final Fantasy an 8.0 in its review, saying that while it’s a great experience, brimming with color, life, and character, it may not carry the same clout as the other Square Enix tent-pole releases this season.
World of Final Fantasy launched in North America on October 25th for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. The aforementioned Tweets can be found below:
