World of Tanks on PS4 Will Actually Run at 1080p, 30 FPS, Not at 60 FPS

During our interview with World of Tanks Marketing Product Manager Max Chuvalov, we were told that World of Tanks would run at 1080p, 60 frames per second on PS4.

Unfortunately, that won’t be the case. Wargaming contacted DualShockers today to clarify that the information we were given was incorrect: the game will not run at 60 frames per second, but at 30 frames per second, matching the frame rate of the other console versions.

While 60 FPS would have been nice, World of Tanks is a slow-paced game, so 30 FPS is still definitely enjoyable.

If you’re curious to hear more about the PS4 version, stay tuned for the full video interview, coming later today. Chuvalov shared quite a lot of interesting information about the game.
