We all know that if you sign up for a year of World of Warcraft, you get the standard edition of Diablo III for free, right? That, in itself, is a great deal, which knocks your monthly subscription down to $8 a month. But, it was also announced that there will be a little bonus on the Diablo III side, as well. If you feel the need to purchase the collector's edition of Diablo III, even after you get the standard edition free, and punch in the code to the same account you already have on the WoW annual pass, you'll get an additional four months of World of Warcraft for free.

How about them apples? While you may be thinking, "Who would buy the game if they're already getting it for free?!", I'm afraid you underestimate the draw of in-game items, especially the WoW vanity pet that comes with the Diablo III CE. People will buy the game just for that. And this, my friends, is how Blizzard equals Scrooge McDuck.
