Today, Blizzard Entertainment announced the latest World of Warcraft expansion, Battle for Azeroth, is the fastest-selling expansion for the long-running MMORPG.

On day one, World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth sold through 3.4 million units worldwide marking a new sales record for the company. According to Blizzard Entertainment, this makes it one of the fastest-selling PC games of all time.

Battle for Azeroth is the seventh expansion for World of Warcraft. With a storyline that goes back to its roots, it puts the conflict between the Horde and Alliance in the forefront. It also introduces a number of new features including an increased level cap to 120, Island Expeditions, Azerite gear, and more.

World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth is available right now for PC. The standard edition costs $49.99 while the Digital Deluxe Edition costs $69.99.
