World of Warcraft: Dragonflight introduces a new area called Dragon Isles, featuring four new zones to explore: the Walking Shores, Onh'ahran Plains, Azure Span, and Thaldraszus, each having its unique theme align with the ancient dragon aspects. However, the most exciting detail of the upcoming expansion is that Dracthyr Evoker, the first-ever race and class combination in World of Warcraft, will be added to the game permanently.

Specialized in ranged-damage dealing and helping their allies as a healer, Dracthyr Evoker will be highly mobile, allowing players to switch between humanoid and draconic forms. Each form has its merits and drawbacks, however, Dracthyr Evoker will provide a new option for players to empower their allies.

A brand new skill-based method of arrival movement, called Dragonriding, will also be introduced with the expansion. According to the developer team, players can customize their drakes by collecting new appearance options, as while they can enable them to fly wherever they want. Furthermore, it was revealed that a new talent system that allows players to make creative choices with the renewed talent trees will be added to the long-running MMO in November. As the development team stated, the new talent system prevents players from compromising the effectiveness of skills, offering logical choices at every level.

Dragonflight brings eight new dungeons that players can take on with their friends. Last but not least, the Winds of Wisdom experience buff will return starting on October 4. Blizzard recommended players not to delay because it will no longer be available after the Dragonflight expansion launches on November 28. Players can now pre-purchase World of Warcraft: Dragonflight through the Blizzard shop.
