World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Goes on TV With Two New Commercials

The release of the new World of Warcraft expansion Mists of Pandaria is less than a month a way, and Blizzard is stepping on the gas pedal of promotion in order to try and counter the gradual decline of the population of the game.

Today they released two new commercials made with footage from the fantastic cinematic intro we saw a couple weeks ago, and as usual they pack quite the punch with the great looking footage and the booming voice of Chen Stormstout.

Will an endangered species save World of Warcraft from the same fate? Quite possibly, considering that despite the decline in subscriptions the game is still by far the most popular MMORPG on the planet, but we’ll have to wait for September the 25th to know.

Hailing from sunny (not as much as people think) Italy and long standing gamer since the age of Mattel Intellivision and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
