Developers love creating variations of their existing game modes. Whether it be Fortnite's teams of 20 mode or PUBG's new custom games, there's nothing like variety to spice up a game in the time between updates. With World of Warcraft's Battle for Azeroth just around the corner, Blizzard has been finding new ways to make player versus player content more interesting and to give players a chance to queue up: Brawls.

This week's Brawl is "Deep Six," which finds teams of six fighting each other on the iconic battlegrounds Warsong Gulch, Silvershard Mines, and Temple of Kotmogu.

Not only are these smaller teams, but the objectives are minimized in order to make play fairer. Silvershard Mines only has two minecarts, Warsong Gulch's flags are closer together, and Temple of Kotmogu only has two orbs.

You can earn additional rewards for queueing up for the Brawl playlist.

Warning: Silvershard Mines versus five enemy rogues is horrifying.

Last week saw "Temple of Hotmogu," which allowed players in Temple of Kotmogu to throw the orbs to teammates. Next week is "Frozen Arathi Basin" which will add snow and ice visuals to the traditionally-springtime battleground, oh and fog... lots of fog.

World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth is scheduled for release on September 21, 2018. Just in time to ruin any chances you had of having a productive Fall.
