World Series of Warzone

This huge Warzone Tournament is set to kick off on June 22nd when the team captains draft their squads for the real thing. According to the official Call of Duty blog post, the five Captains will choose their personal squad, then select players for the other nine trios on their larger Team. The draft will be “snake-style.” This means the Captain with the first pick in the first round will pick last in the second round, while the Captain that chooses last in the first round will get the first pick in the second round.

Then on June 23rd, the real fun will begin. Team captains will headline five separate teams of 10 trios or 15 duos (30 total players) as they compete against each other in Verdansk.

According to the official World Series of Warzone rules, teams will compete in a custom lobby for six full matches, they will accumulate points based on kills and overall placement of their squads. The performance of the 50 trio squads will determine their share of $200,000.

The remaining $100,000 will be up for grabs in the Captain’s Cup. Find out more about the event, including the scoring system and more at the tournament’s website.
