One of the more under-the-radar releases this month is that of World War Z, Saber Interactive's video game based on the movie based on the book. As of today, the game's launch trailer has arrived and it looks pretty dang wild, man.

World War Z seems to be very honest about what it is and that's simply a game where you mow down zombies by the horde. As seen in the launch trailer, you'll have a litany of weapons at your disposal from basic items like the machine gun and shotgun to more advanced weaponry like the missile launcher. You'll also be traveling all around the world to different countries and cities to do battle with these zombified masses.

Honestly, this game has very much not been on my own radar but if it's as mindlessly fun as it seems to be, then I might need to give it a shot. I miss the days where I could mow down zombies with my friends in games like Left 4 Dead. Luckily, World War Z  will also support co-op play so that you can capture that feeling with your pals once again. There's a major void in the "shoot all zombies" subgenre right now and if World War Z  turns out to be solid, it could be a sleeper hit.

You can check out the launch trailer below. World War Z is set to release next week on April for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Hopefully, we'll have some impressions for you in the form of a review sometime soon.
