If you’ve been hoping to get back into Worms W.M.D. on the Nintendo Switch then now might be the perfect time to do such a thing, as developer Team17 has officially released a brand new update for the game, and it adds a slew of new content.
The update, which currently does not have a name, includes a brand new invite system, the ability to capture the last thirty seconds of gameplay, and on top of that, it also increases the total number of worms per map from 32 to 48.
In addition to the new content, a number of performance issues and bugs were also addressed.
To celebrate the release of the update, a brand new trailer was also revealed, which shows off almost a full minute of the game’s new features in action. You can, as always, check it out at the end of the article. In addition to that, the game is currently on sale in Europe, bringing the price down from £19.99 to £15.99, which equates to a 20% discount.
Players should be able to download the update the next time they boot up the game.
Worms W.M.D. was originally released on Nintendo Switch on November 23, 2017. The title is also available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, and Linux.
