A couple of weeks ago, Maple Story had an update that included the introduction of a new character, Dual Blades. The Dual Blade characters are deadly thieves that wield two swords at the same time. Since their debut, nearly a quarter of a million Dual Blade characters were made and almost 500 of them had in-game marriages to their Maple Story loves.

For a limited time, Dual Blades who get married to another Dual Blade character will receive a pet as a wedding present. Pets are usually about $5, so that's a pretty decent deal. They will receive either a Black Kitty, Skunk or Black Bunny chosen at random.

Hopefully with this we see a spike of marriages. Isn't marriage beautiful?
