After Sonic and Dr. Robotnik were confirmed to make appearances in Disney Pixar's forthcoming theatrical hit Wreck-It Ralph, it's nice to see that the treatment goes both ways. SEGA today announced that Wreck-It Ralph will join the roster of Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. "Wreck-It Ralph will make a great addition to our stellar cast in Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed," said SOA Chairman and Chief Content Officer Masanao Maeda.

Rich Moore, director of Wreck-It Ralph, couldn't contain his excitement. Being a part of the film must be a video gamer's dream, and being able to take Disney's potential gaming icon and place him next to the likes of Sonic, Shadow, Dr. Robotnik, and B.D. Joe (he is a gaming icon, naysayers will not be dignified) must be an awesome opportunity. Wreck-It Ralph and Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed are both due to hit their respective media in November.
