At a WWE 2K18 event held at the WWE Archives, the hilarious SmackDown Live tag team Breezango — made up of Fandango (Curtis Hussey) and Tyler Breeze (Mattias Clement) — discussed with DualShockers how they became a tag team, their chances of a title run, and the upcoming wrestling game.

Michael: You guys are one of the more goofier tag teams in the WWE....

Curtis Hussey (Fandango): Don't you say that!

M: (laughs) ...but I think your in-ring stuff is fantastic. Do you think there is a title run in your future?

Mattias Clement (Tyler Breeze): I would hope so, man. You know, we're busy with the [Fashion] Files and everything. Solving cases throughout the WWE. Eventually, The New Day and the Usos got to wrap it up and they need new people to face. We already had a couple run-ins with the Usos and I think people want to see more.

CH: I think post Hell in a Cell, when they kind of finish their business, and we wrap up our case here that we've been working on, maybe we'll set our sights on those tag team titles.

M: How did you guys end up becoming the tag team that you are? You were both singles competitors before. Who brought you two together? Was it you guys who just decided to team up or did someone else introduce you?

MC: Yeah, it had been brought up a couple times and it was one of those things where he was doing nothing; I was doing nothing; we were just tossed together to see what happens. I don't even know if they were banking on us clicking the way we did. Especially stumbling upon something like Fashion Files that took off and people really enjoy it. It was, kind of, a lot of luck and one of those things you try real hard at.

CH: Yeah, even when Tyler was still down in NXT and I was hearing rumblings of this guy that's kind of similar to Fandango, but not as good. Kind of a cheap imitation of yourself....

MC: (laughs) Every interview he does this. Every interview.

CH: ....and I go, "who is this guy?" They go, "well, he wears the same kind of gear as you, and he's not quite as good looking as you, and his gear isn't as nice as yours, but may..."

MC: We're a team, man! We're a team!

CH: I'm just kidding. (laughs) We were hearing rumblings of "maybe we will throw you with this cat," and I said, "cool." And the rest is history.

MC: (laughs) Weirdest interview ever, man! Weirdest interview ever.

M: (laughs) So, we have all these machines here playing WWE 2K18. Have you guys had a chance to play it? What do you think of it?

MC: Dude, yeah. We were just playing a little bit, man...

CH: (interrupts) Michael Hayes. I was Michael Hayes from nineteen....

MC: eighty-six

CH: ....eighty-six, and he was Greg "The Hammer" Valentine versus Kofi Kingston and Big E Langston. It went to a 20 minute TV time draw.

MC: No contest.

CH: Main event anywhere in the world.

MC: Too competitive.

CH: (laughs) Just too competitive. The whole grid shut down. The power went off because people didn't know how to handle it.

MC: It's cool, man. The game this year is definitely something special. Every year they just keep getting better. The roster this year is insane. There's too many people to choose from if you ask me. It's cool, man. Just seeing how much you can create and customize it to your own gaming experience. I think everyone is going to be really excited when it actually comes out.

CH: You know, you get your money's worth. There's endless hours of gameplay on this game where you just can't repeat yourself. When you're a kid — when I was fifteen or sixteen —  you turn on a wrestling game on Christmas day, you've pretty much seen everything on it by dinner time. This game you can play for months and there is always new stuff you are unfolding. It's unbelievable. I'm getting to the age now where I just get confused.

MC: Dude, I remember the games where there were only six people to choose from.

CH: There are just so many cool things in this. It's unbelievable.

M: So, my last question, since you guys are the fashion patrol, I was wondering could you assess my fashion today?

MC: Uh oh. Uh oh. That's bold.

CH: Yeah, I don't know, man. I don't think your shoes match your shirt.... or do they?

MC: You actually have a pair of shoes like that.

CH: Yeah, you look okay, man.

M: Oh, thanks man.

MC: You're alright, you're alright. You passed for today.

M: Yeah, sick.

CH: Yeah, you look okay.

M: (laughs) Thanks for the assessment.

Fandango, Tyler Breeze, and many more will be making their way to WWE 2K18 on October 17, 2017 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. The Nintendo Switch version will be available sometime this Fall. Recently, ten more WWE Superstars were added to the extensive roster as DLC.
