However, there was one infamous figure absent from the expansive list: Vince McMahon. After his appearance last night on SmackDown Live, the

" target="_blank" rel="noopener">WWE Twitter account announced the WWE Chairman and CEO will be a playable character in the new wrestling game.

In the beginning of his on-screen career, Vince McMahon was primarily a commentator. It was not until the Attitude Era where he became the prominent and harsh character he is today. Now his on-screen appearances are sporadic, with his most recent being last night's SmackDown Live where he confronted former United States Champion Kevin Owens after he planned to sue WWE. It did not end well for the chairman, as the Prizefighter headbutted, kicked, and frog splashed McMahon rendering him useless. The feud between Owens and the McMahon family will come to a head at next month's pay-per-view event, Hell in a Cell, where Vince's son, Shane, will wrestle the former champion in a Hell in a Cell match.

Recently, new details about WWE 2K18's MyCAREER mode were revealed allowing players to choose between a Fan Favorite and Company Man path. The latter will have your created wrestler appeasing the company's general managers as you shape the WWE to their vision. By doing this, you may have the opportunity to meet with the Chairman and CEO in his backstage office to help aid you in your career.

WWE 2K18 will be available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on October 17. The Nintendo Switch version will be available sometime this Fall.
