After having a litany of different pre-order trailers and some various collector's editions announced, WWE 2K19 has today finally received its first screenshot. The lone image of WWE 2K19 was released by none other than the current World Heavyweight Champion himself, AJ Styles via Twitter. As you might expect, it also features The Phenomenal One though he is simply getting into the ring with his belt around his waist. Not the most exciting first image ever, but there does seem to be a slight increase in visual fidelity compared to last year's game. You can check out this image at the top of the page.As of now, we still have yet to see any footage of WWE 2K19 in action. 2K Sports is known to take their time revealing screenshots and gameplay of both NBA 2K and WWE 2K so it's hard to say when we first might see the game running. That said, you'd have to imagine it will be soon as WWE 2K19 is scheduled to release in just a couple months on October 9 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC -- no Switch version this year. You can pre-order the game right now over on Amazon if you feel so inclined.
