Even though he's most well-known for being a member of WWE's New Day faction, Xavier Woods, otherwise known over on YouTube as Austin Creed, is looking to now get into the business of developing video games.

Woods has been talking openly for a few months now about his desire to get more into the actual creation of games, a medium that has been dear to him since he was a kid. Woods says he has been setting aside funds that he makes through Twitch streaming recently in the hopes of establishing the would-be game studio down the line. While it is something he says he is aiming to do one day though, he doesn't have all the answers just yet.

Speaking to us here at DualShockers, Woods told us that he's looking to initially help create mobile games with the intention of one day developing titles for PC and consoles, if possible. "Right now there's just a bunch of stuff creatively that I kind of want to get out of my head and put it into people's hands," Woods said. "I just hope that there is at least a few people who would want to play the same kind of stuff that I want to play."

Even though Woods has ideas of how he wants to pursue game development though, he has no timeframe for when it might finally take shape. As it stands, Woods has been picking the brains of some of his friends in the video game industry to try and determine how he'd go about making this happen. Woods also told us though that he's had nothing but support from many when it comes to the pursuit so far. "What's been kind of cool is that a bunch of people have already reached out on Twitter saying 'Hey, I'm about to graduate,' or 'I've worked in games for x amount of years and I want to be a part of this.' So it's cool to see that support even though I said nothing about an idea of what I want to do or what I want to create," he said.

As for how he'd find a way to fit this new venture into an already hectic schedule that includes WWE, UpUpDownDown, and many other commitments, Woods told us he'd find a way to make it all work. "If you say you don't have the time for something, it's because you don't want to do it. If you want to do something, you'll figure out how to make time for it," he explained. "I'll figure out where to find the time to get it done because it's something that I think is going to be, one, good for my mental state, and two, something that I think will be really fun."

While there's still a lot left to figure out, Woods says he's hoping he to make a bit more ground on this venture by the end of the year. "This is something I've been kicking around for a minute, I just need to start getting more of the pieces in place," Woods told us. Woods spent this past week at GDC talking to some at the conference about his idea.

It'll likely be a while until we see or hear something official from Woods and this potential studio, but it just goes to show that no matter how busy you might be, you can always make time to follow pursuits that you're passionate about.
