Normally on Friday nights, Sledgehammer Games releases a community update, which gives fans of Call of Duty: WWII a glimpse into what will be coming in the week ahead. Unfortunately, the developer stated they won't be posting one for a while, but for good reason: they are saving a whole bunch of news for next week's huge update.

While this is the first we are officially hearing of the update itself, it should come as much of a surprise, as the fourth and final DLC for WWII, titled The Shadow War is dropping next week. Not much is known about the update itself, Sledgehammer is saving the full notes for next week, however, the developer did confirm that the game will be getting a brand new Division, new Basic Trainings, and more.

For those don't know, The Shadow War, the map pack coinciding with the release of the new update, includes three multiplayer maps, one War mode map, and one Nazi Zombies map.

Call of Duty: WWII is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. If you want to pick up the game via Amazon, you can do so by clicking here.
