A while ago developer Sledgehammer Games put out a Twitter poll that asked players which type of Domination mode they would prefer: 75 or 100, with the numbers indicating the max number of points in each match. Domination 100, as it was retroactively named, was the winner. Despite this, however, today Sledgehammer Games revealed that they would be bringing the score maximum down to 75.

In the studios Weekly Community Update, they announced that 75 points made sense after playtesting, despite what fans wanted. They went on to explain that 50 points felt as if players were focusing more on the objective than killing, while 100 points felt the complete opposite. According to Sledgehammer Games, 75 points felt like a good balance.

The change will be made at some point in the near future, however, an exact release date has not yet been announced.
