With less than two months until Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 hits retail stores, it can be easy to forget that Call of Duty: WWII fans still have one more DLC pack to look forward to, and now we know exactly how this season of content will be ending. Today, developer Sledgehammer Games revealed the fourth and final DLC pack for Call of Duty: WWII, which is set to be titled The Shadow War.

As per usual with WWII map packs, The Shadow War comes with three standard multiplayer maps, one War mode map, and a Nazi Zombies map.

On the multiplayer side of things, Airship takes place on a giant cliff side where a zeppelin has been parked, which, while not flyable, can be explored. In Excavation, players have to struggle over an underground mine, while Chancellery sees players fight over the large governmental building that the map is named after.

Players also have access to a new War mode map called Operation: Arcane, which takes place in Austria, but the coup de gras of the map is that players will be able to use prototype weapons found around the map.

Finally, players will also receive a brand new Nazi Zombies map called The Frozen Throne, which appears to takes place in a large, sprawling cave with tons of tunnels and secrets.

While that's all that normal players will get access to, Season Pass owners will be receiving a nice little bonus called the Party Up Map Access. If you own the game's Season Pass and you join a party with someone who doesn't own it, that person will be able to play all the maps included in DLC 4.

To celebrate the announcement of the new DLC, Sledgehammer Games released a brand new trailer, which shows off gameplay from all four maps. You can check it out at the end of the article.

The Shadow War is set to be available first on PlayStation 4 on August 28, 2018, with other platforms getting access a month later.
