Call of Duty: WWII Attack of the Undead In-Game Event Unveiled
Sledgehammer Games has unveiled the Attack of the Undead event for Call of Duty: WWII and it adds seven new weapons, three new modes, and more.
Ever since Call of Duty: WWII was released last year, the game has received a brand new event every month or so, but when it does, they usually tease it a few days in advance from the official announcement. Today, however, developer Sledgehammer Games and publisher Activision took everyone by surprise when they announced the Attack of the Undead in-game event.
In terms of content, the event seems to be the biggest one yet. Seven new weapons have been added, including the Nambu Type 2 submachine gun, the Stinger light machine gun, the Lever Action and PTRS-41 sniper rifles, as well as the Fire Ax and Sword (which is strangely called the Claymore) melee weapons.
In addition to that, the event also brings three new game modes to the title, which includes Infected, Hordepoint (a variation on Hardpoint), and Relic of the Undead. A brand new map called Groesten Haus, which is one of the game’s Nazi Zombies maps.
To celebrate the announcement and release of the brand new event, the developers have released a brand new trailer, which you can, like always, check out at the end of the article.
Call of Duty: WWII was released last year and is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. If you want to pick up the game on Amazon, you can do so by clicking here.
