Xbox 360 Elite $249 Until Oct. 5... With Rebate

If you didn’t find reason to buy an Xbox 360 Elite, aside from the fact that you might think it red rings beyond belief, you might have reason to buy one now. Why, you ask? Well, because Microsoft is offering $50 mail-in rebate on all Xbox 360 Elite purchases starting today, September 22, through October 5. What was once a $400 console has now been trimmed down to a pocket-pleasing $249.

Before the lot of you reading this attempt to throw your arms up in the air, not that this offer is only good here, in the gool ol’ US of A (sorry “insert country here.” I know you’re about to throw tantrums). Those of you getting those whopping $50 back can use it to buy some component cables, HDMI cables, or every other thing that the Elite doesn’t bring which you might want. Or, you can do what I’d do, and that is go to your nearest Burger King, buy yourselves $50 worth of Whoppers, go to a homeless shelter, whip out beach chair and eat away while the hungry hobos drool all over their nappy beards.

The link to the rebate site isn’t up yet, but will be up sometime today. I now hate myself for buying another Xbox 360 two weeks ago. God hates me.
