Xbox Boss Phil Spencer “Feels Great” About Gamescom Show, Talks Minecon and Chinajoy

on July 3, 2015 7:08 PM

With E3 in the past, Xbox division head honcho Phil Spencer still has a rather busy schedule ahead of him. Tomorrow he’ll be at Minecon in London, and then there will be Chinajoy in Shanghai and Gamescom in Cologne.

Spencer’s trip to Minecon will actually have a more private nature, as the event is about Mojang and the community.

Interestingly, Spencer was asked whether mods for Minecraft will come to Xbox One or not, and while he did not confirm or deny, he mentioned that Microsoft knows how important they are for the game.

Afterwards, he also explained how he “feels great” about Microsoft’s show at Gamescom.

Lastly, he mentioned that Microsoft will talk about Xbox in China at Chinajoy.

Chinajoy will be held between July 30th and August 2nd, while Gamescom will follow immediately after, from August 5th to August 9th. While we’re not going to fly all the way to China, you can definitely expect extensive coverage directly from the show floor in Cologne here on DualShockers.
