Here's (Mostly) Everything Revealed at the Xbox E3 2019 Briefing
From Keanu Reeves to the future of console gaming, the Xbox E3 2019 Briefing brought some exciting announcements that will certainly shape the world of video games.
E3 2019 is officially underway and things are popping off right from the start. Which isn’t much of a surprise since Xbox is the one leading the charge. This included 60 games — 34 of which will premiere in Xbox Game Pass — a studio acquisition, and the future of console gaming. Beginning the show is Obsidian and Private Division’s The Outer Worlds which will be coming to Xbox One, PS4, and PC on October 25, 2019. A new trailer was also revealed flaunting in-game combat and its stylish world.
Well, that leak was real. The developers that brought you Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice are making a 4v4 melee combat game. Although gameplay details seem to be sparse, you’ll choose a character from Bleeding Edge’s diverse cast, each with their own set of moves. Looks like we won’t have to wait too much longer for the follow-up to Ori and the Blind Forest. Ori and the will of the Wisp is now slated to launch on Xbox and PC on February 11, 2020. Alongside the release date reveal was a trailer featuring Ori running away from a bunch giant bugs and animals that would make your skin crawl.
It looks like Microsoft will be doing more with the popular Mojang franchise. Minecraft Dungeons is a classically-styled dungeon crawler that can be played alone or up to four players cooperatively.
