Here's (Mostly) Everything Revealed at the Xbox E3 2019 Briefing

From Keanu Reeves to the future of console gaming, the Xbox E3 2019 Briefing brought some exciting announcements that will certainly shape the world of video games.

E3 2019 is officially underway and things are popping off right from the start. Which isn’t much of a surprise since Xbox is the one leading the charge. With Sony absent from this year’s E3, this was Microsoft’s chance to really go big a blow everyone away. This included 60 games — 34 of which will premiere in Xbox Game Pass — a studio acquisition, and the future of console gaming. The Outer Worlds Release Date Announced

Beginning the show is Obsidian and Private Division’s The Outer Worlds which will be coming to Xbox One, PS4, and PC on October 25, 2019. A new trailer was also revealed flaunting in-game combat and its stylish world.

Ninja Theory’s Bleeding Edge Officially Revealed

Well, that leak was real. The developers that brought you Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice are making a 4v4 melee combat game. Although gameplay details seem to be sparse, you’ll choose a character from Bleeding Edge’s diverse cast, each with their own set of moves. You’ll be able to check it out soon with the technical alpha coming June 27. When it does inevitably launch, it will be on Xbox Game Pass.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps Coming February 11, 2020

Looks like we won’t have to wait too much longer for the follow-up to Ori and the Blind ForestOri and the will of the Wisp is now slated to launch on Xbox and PC on February 11, 2020. Alongside the release date reveal was a trailer featuring Ori running away from a bunch giant bugs and animals that would make your skin crawl.

Minecraft Dungeons Receives New Gameplay Trailer, Releasing Spring 2020

It looks like Microsoft will be doing more with the popular Mojang franchise. Minecraft Dungeons is a classically-styled dungeon crawler that can be played alone or up to four players cooperatively. It will release for Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC in spring 2020. It will be available on Xbox Game Pass the same day as release.

More Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Gameplay Shown

Yesterday, the first peek at gameplay for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was revealed at EA Play. At the Xbox E3 2019 Briefing, more gameplay was shown, including the AT-AT sequence we saw behind closed doors. Oh, it will also be releasing on November 15, 2019.

Keanu Reeves is in Cyberpunk 2077, Release Date Revealed

Yes, you are reading that correctly. Keanu Reeves, the star of the John Wick, Matrix, and Bill and Ted franchises, will star in CD Project Red’s highly anticipated RPG Cyberpunk 2077. More importantly, Keanu got on stage a revealed the game will be releasing on April 16, 2020.

Battletoads Gameplay Revealed

Gears 5 Releases on September 10, 2019

Get your lancers ready because Gears 5 is releasing on September 10, 2019. Alongside a new trailer prominently featuring Gears of War 4 protagonist Kait Diaz, we learned Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be able to play Gears 5 four days before its official release. Additionally, a character pack based on the upcoming film Terminator: Dark Fate was unveiled.

Phantasy Star Online 2 Coming to the West on Xbox One and PC

Probably the most surprising reveal of the entire conference, Phantasy Star Online 2 will finally be coming to the West. In spring 2020, Xbox One and PC players in North America will be able to get their hands on this beloved RPG.

Xbox’s Next-Gen Plans Unfold

Microsoft has officially ushered in the next generation of gaming. Project Scarlett has formally been revealed and will bring 8K resolution, up to 120 frames per second, and real-time ray tracing to console gaming. Xbox’s push for backward compatibility also continues the next system will allow you to play from all four generations. Lastly, it was revealed that you’ll be able to pick up Project Scarlett Holiday 2020.

Halo Infinite Launches Alongside Project Scarlett Holiday 2020

This wouldn’t be an Xbox press conference if Master Chief didn’t show up somewhere. This time around, a new Halo Infinite trailer was revealed showing what seems to be the beginning moments of the game. It was also announced that Halo Infinite will launch alongside Project Scarlett Holiday 2020.
