Xbox Execs: “Great Progress” on Xbox One Exclusive Crackdown, Fable Legends Is “Super Fun”

Gamescom is just a few days away (and I still have to pack my stuff… I hate packing) and Microsoft Executives are visiting the studios in full force to catch a good look at the upcoming Xbox One exclusives currently in the works.

Microsoft Game Studios Manager Mike Ybarra had a close encounter with the upcoming Crackdown and with Sunset Overdrive, mentioning that “great progress” has been made on the former.

Another long day, but some great progress on Crackdown and a lot of Sunset Overdrive play sessions.

On the other hand Global Product Marketing Manager Aaron Greenberg flied to the other side of the big pond, and is currently in UK to visit Lionhead and Rare. He played Fable Legends and posted his impressions.

Just played Fable Legends, super fun. The villian actually won too.

Unfortunately Greenberg declined to give news about Rare’s new projects, but it’s not too unlikely that we might hear something at Gamescom.

At least, he provided two glimpses on the studios at Lionhead and Rare, and I have to say the latter really looks like a lovely place.
