Today Microsoft announced the lineup of new (relatively) games coming to the Xbox Game Pass subscription service in August.
We'll get Capcom's zombie-apocalypser (meaning that you're the apocalypse unleashed on the zombies) Dead Rising 3, Codemasters' racing game DiRT Rally, PlayDead's 2D puzzle-platformre Limbo, Puppy Games' platform shooter Ultratron, Origi Games' platformer So Many Me, SNK's arcade classic collection Metal Slug XX, and Milkstone Studios' 2D sidescrolling action RPG Pharaonic.
This means that this month we get seven new games, all natively on Xbox One.
Xbox Game Pass is a service launched a couple of months ago, giving subscribers access to over a hundred Xbox One and Xbox 360 backward compatible games for $9.99 a month. According to Microsoft, at least five new games will be introduced to the service every first day of each month. Considering that this month we’re getting seven again, they're still keeping that promise.
Recently, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella mentioned that the service is "off to a great start."
You can enjoy a trailer below, and if you want to see more, you can check out July's games, including Dead Island Definitive Edition, Resident Evil 6, F1 2015, The Flame in the Flood, Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition, Bard’s Gold and Monaco: What’s Yours is Mine.
