Yesterday, Microsoft announced Xbox Game Pass, its new gaming subscription service that grants you unlimited access to over 100 Xbox One and backward compatible Xbox 360 Games at the price point of $9.99 USD per month. The service, which is slated to be dished out sometime this spring, then got further details on its discounts, downloading games, and more. Now, it has once again got more details, this time about subscription options, home-sharing, and how the service doesn't impact Games with Gold. When marketing boss Aaron Green was asked on Twitter if Microsoft was planning on letting users purchase an Xbox Game Pass membership to gift it to a friend, Greenberg said such a feature is not a confirmed feature, but that he liked the idea.

In a different Twitter interaction, Greenberg confirmed that Xbox Game Pass will only have a month-by-month subscription option available, which is priced at $10 USD, and means there is no yearly subscription option.

Greenberg also revealed that Xbox Game Pass can be shared as part of Xbox One's home-sharing policy.

Lastly, in a statement to Kotaku, Microsoft confirmed that Xbox Game Pass has no impact on Games with Gold, which is no surprise.

Xbox Game Pass will be available for Xbox One and Windows 10.
