The next-gen consoles are now less than 6 months away, and after Sony had its big showcase for the PS5 last month, Microsoft is stepping up to the plate once again to show us more of the Xbox Series X. This time around though, the focus is entirely on first-party games, and hopefully we can look forward to some of Microsoft's biggest announcements today for its upcoming new console.

The main reveal that we know for sure that we'll see at the Xbox Games Showcase is a brand new look at Halo Infinite, which presumably will give us a deeper look at what to expect from the next entry in Microsoft's flagship shooter franchise. Likewise, hopefully we'll get another glimpse of some previously announced Xbox exclusive titles like Senua's Saga: Hellblade II, along with some brand new reveals of never-before-seen games. Several rumors indicate that we may see the long-awaited new Fable title and perhaps a new entry for Perfect Dark, alongside some other surprises.

If you're looking to tune in and watch the livestream when it kicks off at 9am PT/12pm ET, you find the official stream from Microsoft below for the Xbox Games Showcase:

Given that Microsoft has been pretty open about sharing information on the Xbox Series X throughout this year, we already have a pretty good idea of what to expect from the system right now, other than its price and release date. We know for sure that it will be out in holiday 2020, and if recent game release dates are anything to go by, the safe bet is that it will be out sometime in mid-November. However, now that we're getting a closer look at what Microsoft has in store for its first-party lineup, the wait for the Xbox Series X later this year will get even more exciting.

The Xbox Games Showcase is kicking off today (July 23) at 9am PT/12pm ET: you can check out the official livestream above, or you can also stay tuned for our live reaction stream with the DualShockers staff right as the event is airing.
