Microsoft gave us a more extensive look at its first-party game lineup for Xbox Series X: what did you think of the Xbox Games Showcase?

With the next-generation systems on the horizon for later this year, anticipation has been building for what new games we’ll get to play. Now that we know a bit of what to expect from the Xbox Series X, Microsoft is stepping into the spotlight again to show what we’re all hoping to play once the system debuts this holiday season in its Xbox Games Showcase event.

Microsoft has just wrapped up its Xbox Games Showcase, which gave us a brand new look at the first-party lineup of titles that are coming to the Xbox Series X and more. For the hour-long presentation, we saw some high-profile looks at titles like Halo Infinite, Hellblade II, and several other Xbox exclusives coming later this year and beyond. There were also some big surprises thrown into the mix, such as the long-awaited return of Fable in the mix.

Now that the event is over, we want to hear from the DualShockers community and ask: What did you think of Microsoft’s Xbox Games Showcase? What game announcements or reveals got you the most excited? What new announcements took you by surprise? What do you think of the first-party lineup for the Xbox Series X? Will you pick one up at launch? Let us know in the comments below.

Personally, I think Microsoft put on a solid show with a lot to look forward to for the Xbox Series X in terms of first-party exclusives. Obviously, Halo Infinite seemed like the big game to watch from this presentation, and having some fun surprises thrown in like Fable were worth watching for, even if it was a title that has been rumored for some time. However, hopefully we’ll get to see more gameplay and in-engine footage from some of the games shown at today’s showcase, given that we mostly saw CGI reveal trailers, indicating that they may be pretty early in development.
