Today Microsoft is kicking off the celebrations for Gamescom from Cologne, Germany, and since doing it the day before the show is for plebs, we're here to listen to their future plans for Xbox two days before the gates open.

The conference will start at 9:00 PM local time, which translates to noon Pacific time, if you're on that side of the ocean.

Among the news we're expecting to see today, there should finally be pre-order details for the Xbox One X, and we'll know whether the leaked "Project Scorpio Edition" is actually real. Of course, there should be a lot of games on the menu as well.

Unlike E3, Gamescom 2017 will have only two big live show. Besides Microsoft's, tomorrow (August 21st), you'll be able to tune in at 6:30 PM local time for Electronic Arts' own livestream.

If you happen to miss the show, don't worry, because this post will immortalize the recording of the show for your perusal, and you'll be able to watch the video on demand at any time. Obviously, we're also going to have individual posts for any piece of news and trailer, so there will be a lot to see and read today.

Of course, DualShockers will be on the show floor. If you're excited about the games you're seeing today, be ready to see and read a lot more about them over the next few days, because we're going in hot, and coming home heavy.
