Xbox Head Phil Spencer Announces Killer Instinct for Windows (UPDATED)

During the E3 PC Gaming Show, Microsoft’s Head of Xbox Division Phil Spencer had a rather interesting announcement to make.

Spencer mentioned that the former Xbox One exclusive Killer Instinct is coming to Windows. He did not give further information on the topic, but it’s coming.

Spencer also explained that there are a lot of opportunities for cross platform titles between PC and Xbox One, while other games have a place only on a TV or only on a PC with Keyboard and Mouse, but it isn’t Microsoft’s place to dictate what platforms developers want to develop for.

Lastly, he added that we’ll hear more about Microsoft’s plans for PC gaming in the future.

Update: Iron Galaxy head Dave Lang confirmed on Twitter that the game will support cross-play between Windows and Xbox One, and if you get the PC version, all the DLC you got on Xbox One will be there on Windows as well.
