Masashi Inoue is a man with a challenging job. As the manager in charge of the marketing of the Xbox One in Japan, he has to push a product in a very difficult market.
Yet, successful events like Xbox Fanfest in Tokyo show that Microsoft is still determined to bring its platform and games to its fans in Japan.
At the event, I had a chance to chat with Inoue-san, and asked him about the future strategy for Xbox One’s promotion in the archipelago of the rising sun.
Of course, the conversation could not avoid the ele… ahem… the dragon in the room, so we also talked about Scalebound, and Inoue-san is very confident about its potential for pushing the console in the country and worldwide.
