At times marketing produces some very weird results, and that’s arguably the case of the latest marketing campaign launched by Microsoft, named Xbox Sick Note.
What does it do? Exactly what it says on the tin. It creates an Xbox themed sick note that you better not bring at work, because it’d get you fired unless your employer is a gamer himself or has a quite developed sense of humor.
The website basically prompts you to enter your name, your game of choice and the reason of your sickness, and creates the sick notes, prompting you to download it or to spread it via social media.
