Xbox Live Access Down For Many Users with Widespread Login Issues (UPDATED)

on July 1, 2015 4:27 PM

There have been a few intermittent problems in the past few weeks both on the PSN and on Xbox Live, and today it seems to be one of those days for Microsoft’s network, with logins unavailable and returning error 0x87DD000F.

Below you can see the Downdetector status, showing a spike in reports, and  the official status page, that also aknowledges the issue and promises that Microsoft’s engineers are working on it.

Interestingly, the outage doesn’t seem to be affecting the Xbox App on the insider preview of Windows 10, that is instead working as usual on our end.

As usual, we’ll keep you updated as the situation evolves.

Update: while Microsoft has not yet given the “All Green” on the official status page, connection on Xbox One and Xbox 360 was restored on our end, so the problem seems to be on the mend.

Update 2: Microsoft has given the “All green” and all systems are now operational again.
