Xbox One Comes to Japan in September, Nearly 50 Japanese Studios Registered to Develop Games for Console

While the Xbox One has enjoyed a healthy launch since its release in the US back in November of last year, Microsoft’s new console has been announced to be making its debut in Japan this coming fall.

Microsoft announced that the Xbox One will be launching in Japan on September 4th, 2014, and that the console will feature a number of titles already released here for the system, such as Ryse: Son of RomeForza Motorsport 5Dead Rising 3, along with several upcoming titles like Sunset Overdrive and the new Halo title.

Overall, 48 Japanese companies and studios are currently registered to develop games for the console, with the following included:
