Since its introduction in November 2015, backward compatibility with Xbox 360 and classic Xbox games have given Xbox One owners an increasingly varied array of games to play each and every month, with more games on the way in 2019 to add to an already impressive library.Xbox's Larry Hryb (aka "Major Nelson") has revealed that over 100 titles were added to the Xbox One's growing catalog of games through backward compatibility, with the library of Xbox 360 and Xbox games now totaling over 550. Of those titles, 57 games that are backward compatible also support Xbox One X enhancements. As revealed by Hyrb yesterday, the last new titles being added to support backward compatibility for 2018 are The Darkness, Duke Nukem Forever, and The Bureau: XCOM Declassified. While no more titles will be coming for the remainder of the year, Hryb added that there will be "more BC news in January."
