Earlier this morning, many reports began swirling from Xbox One players that were having trouble booting up their consoles. Upon turning the system on, many were met with just a black screen and nothing else. A scary sight to be certain, but one that now seems to have been fixed.Via the Xbox Support Twitter page, Microsoft has said that the problems associated with the error this morning have now been fixed. Apparently, the black screen issue was stemming from issues with title updates, logging in, and starting up your console. Fortunately, Microsoft identified the problem almost right away and it has now been solved. It's always frightening when you turn on your console and things don't go as planned. Heck, I still have PTSD from the whole Red Ring of Death nonsense during the Xbox 360 era. I think that problem bricked 2-3 different 360s for me. Luckily, everything with the Xbox One has gone rather smoothly the past few years. Today's kerfuffle is one of the only widespread instances I can remember from the past few years where so many people encounter the same issues at once.If for some reason you're still having any of these problems, you might want to go ahead and reach out to Xbox Support for yourself at this point. Maybe do a hard reset of your console first though as a last resort. As any good IT person will tell you, the first step to fixing any problem is to turn a device on and off.
