Xbox One exclusive Killer Instinct adopted a business model that is very heavily based on microtransactions, and as a consequence it comes with a pretty complex pricing scheme that may look a little daunting to those not used to the free to play model.

Today Microsoft published the full breakdown of the pricing of the game, that you can see below, in what those used to microtransactions-based games normally call the pricing matrix (a term that console gamers will have to get used to in this new generation).

In addition to the pricing breakdown we learn that those that will buy the Ultra Edition (and the PinUltimate Edition) of the game will receive costumes and accessories immediately, including those that won't be immediately released for general availability.

Those that will take advantage of the free Round One edition will be able to purchase Jago, Sabrewulf, Glacius and Thunder on day one, while Sadira and Orchid will come shortly after launch.

Finally, if you want Shadow Jago, no other purchase option will be provided besides the Day One 12-month Xbox Live cards, so if you want it, you'll have to hurry and get one of those.
