Xbox One Exclusive Quantum Break: Remedy Head of PR Clarifies Input Lag and Cutscene Information

on February 8, 2016 12:56 PM

Yesterday Remedy Entertainment Head of PR Thomas Puha mentioned that the current build of Quantum Break had no input lag and stable frame rate. Of course, as it often happens with this kind of topic, some got all technical about it, so today Puha clarified the statement, explaining that he meant stable frame rate and minimal input lag for a game running at 30 frames per second.

Puha also explained that the game includes no CGI, but some of its cutscenes are played as videos, while the levels are loaded in the background.

Incidentally, if you’re waiting for the upcoming previews and interviews, embargo should drop on Thursday, as teased by Head of Community Lauri Haavisto on the official forums:

“Quantum might break a lot of news on this week’s Thursday… ;)”
