Xbox One Exclusive Scalebound Gets New Work-in-Progress Pictures

Recently, PlatinumGames held a 10th anniversary event during which it allowed fans into its offices, showcasing the work done on the company’s development floor.

Among the pictures, published by Famitsu, there were quite a few snaps of Scalebound‘s work-in-progress models and effects, that you can see at the bottom of the post.

We also learn that creating a detailed model for the game takes between two to three weeks, then the model is rigged, making sure that the whole body moves in accordance to ech part. For instance, if you move the tail of the dragon, it isn’t just the tip to be animated, but the lower part of the body raises.

After that, the model is loaded into the engine, and VFX (visual effects) are applied, creating elements like light and flames, by usig Unreal Engine 4’s Cascade Editor.
