While it’s the same demo that we saw at Gamescom, it’s played differently.
We actually get the ultimate evidence that this is live, unadulterated gameplay, as the giant insect-like boss actuallyends up falling down the cliff, so we get to see a demonstration of Drew’s spiffy moves instead of the finishers that we would have seen if the demo went as intended.
After all, with Uncharted: A Thief’s End‘s gameplay debut, Nathan Drake fell through the ground, so this is definitely a cool way to see that the game is indeed being played live in front of our eyes, and since it’s pre-alpha, this kind of stuff happens and is actually quite cool.
The second video was pre-recorded, and it shows the RPG elements of the game, including different weapons (and giant swords), inventory, town interaction, dragon customization and more.
You can check both videos out below, and try to held your excitement at bay. I quite evidently can’t.
