Xbox One Gets Revised Snap Support for TV, Apps, and More in October Update

Xbox One owners may be preoccupied in the next few weeks thanks to Destiny, but a new video showcasing the latest updates coming to Microsoft’s console in the near future shows that there is much more to look forward to on Xbox One soon.

A new blog post accompanied by a video preview on Major Nelson’s blog shows the upcoming updates and features being added to Xbox One in its October Update, with the majority being made to the console’s Snap features. Specifically, the October Update will bring various improvements and updates to make Snapping between apps, TV, and video much faster and more responsive, between Messages, DVR, and more.

In addition, the updates will also improve on TV viewing and video, with new features being added such as a list of trending live TV shows or programs (based on your country/area), Universal Remote Control via the SmartGlass app, and more with the full details here.
