Xbox One's Spring update is upon us adding a slew of new features to Microsoft's game console. While it won't be open to everyone quite yet, the update will roll out for people in the Xbox Insider program, starting with those in the Alpha Ring.

The Spring update will add support for 1440p video output for both the Xbox One X and Xbox One S models. You will be able to find this option in the "Display &sound" menu in settings.

Mixer will also see a new level of interactivity with the share controller option. Players using the streaming service can allow viewers to control the game they are playing via on-screen gamepad or an actual controller plugged into a PC. Other changes added to Mixer allows streamers to start their stream from any menu and switch games without stopping their stream.

Other improvements and changes being implemented include invite filtering for club owners, smarter feeds, the ability to start or join a tournament without being a member of a club, and additional audio options.

In other Xbox related news, the Games with Gold for March were announced, offering Trials of the Blood Dragon and Superhot for Xbox One to Xbox Live Gold subscribers.
