Xbox One to Allow Users to Upload to YouTube Starting Tomorrow

Although the Xbox One has the ability for users to capture and upload game footage, it never had the ability to upload clips to YouTube. This all changes starting tomorrow.

How YouTube uploads will work:

…use Game DVR to capture epic gaming moments, edit them in Upload Studio, and, with the simple click of a button inside the YouTube app (look for My Uploads**), share them instantly to your YouTube channel. The updated YouTube experience also allows you to watch YouTube videos in Snap Mode, earn Media Achievements, and adds YouTube channels to OneGuide for instant access to YouTube videos right next to your favorite TV listings or App Channels.

A lot of people have been wanting this since the system launched so this news is sure to please them. The question now is, when will Sony’s PlayStation 4 allow users the same ability? If they want to stay competitive with Microsoft on this end they’ll have to allow YouTube uploads from their console eventually.
