Have all eight of your Xbox One controllers ready to go? You just might need them.

Confirmed today on the official Xbox One page, the Xbox One will allow support for up to eight wireless controllers connected to the console at a time. By comparison, Xbox 360 supported up to four wireless controllers, and PS3 provided seven simultaneous connections to its console. The Xbox One will come bundled with a controller during its launch in November, and extra controllers will retail for $59.99 at stores once the console is released.

Ready for some insane eight-player co-op?
